B5 Recruiting is partnering with a large property management organization that is looking to hire several Maintenance Technicians. As a Maintenance tech, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional service to their residence ensuring the property is safe, attractive, and well-maintained. You’ll work closely with our property management team and gain hands-on experience in a variety of trades. This role will be a contract to hire opportunity.

What You’ll Do:

Prepare apartments for new residents (turns & move-outs).

Complete work orders efficiently and professionally.

Keep exterior areas clean and well-presented (curb appeal).

Conduct routine and preventive maintenance.

Daily trash pickup and grounds upkeep.

Maintain trash compactors and swimming pools (in season).

Check irrigation systems.

Maintain accurate records of work and materials used.

Participate in the on-call maintenance rotation.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
Troubleshoot and repair:
Plumbing.
Basic electrical.
Appliances.
Carpentry & drywall.
Roofing & flooring.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED.
1–3+ years of maintenance experience in multifamily, apartment communities, residential property management, or a similar residential environment.
Experience with plumbing, basic electrical, appliance repair, carpentry/drywall, roofing, and/or flooring.
Ability to complete apartment turns, work orders, and preventive maintenance independently.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Own set of basic maintenance tools.
Ability to participate in an on-call maintenance rotation.

Preferred:

HVAC/EPA, CFC, or CPO certification.
Hands-on HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience.
